Verneo is a design and fabrication studio founded by Sami El Khattabi, operating between Morocco and Los Angeles, CA.

Trained as an architect, Sami has cultivated a passion for making, with a particular interest in the convergence of vernacular crafts and digital fabrication methods.

This approach is exemplified in the studio's initial body of work, which reinterprets the ancient plastering technique of Tadelakt by applying it to digitally sculpted forms, creating contemporary pieces that bridge between tradition and innovation.

Verneo Studio continues to explore new design challenges, crafts, and processes, aiming to create objects and spaces that are resolutely of their time, while remaining rooted in handmade craftsmanship.
